2023-09-10 Set-Up Day
All teams set up their base camps and checked the goals that would be used for the competition.
2023-09-11 Day1 & Opening Ceremony
The opening ceremony began with a speech by Mr. Yoshida, the management representative, followed by AeroPAC and Dr. Nakanishi.
After the ceremony, all teams took a group photo!
2023-09-12 Day2
On the second day of the competition, more teams are launched.
Team SuperNova reached the goal at around 330 meters,
while team Gemini reached around 2,240 meters!
2023-09-13 Day3
More teams launched on the second last day of the competition period.
Team PrT achieved full success with a 0 m goal after three power-feeding missions.
2023-09-14 Day4
Final day of competition.
Many groups struggled during the long windy periods, but team SuperNOVA achieved 0m goal !
This year, FAA regulations did not allow for attitude control prior to landing, but several teams attempted to reach their goals with re-takeoff CanSat.
Among those teams, team QueenBee reached a point about 340 m from the goal.
This record was the highest flyback record in 2023.
The wall to the all-time shortest flyback record of 45 m (ARLISS 2002) is high.
2023-09-15 Closing ceremony & Technical exchange meeting
The closing ceremony of ARLISS 2024 and a technical exchange meeting were held.
At the closing ceremony, AeroPAC and Associate Prof. Inamori gave general comments on the convention.
During the technical exchange meeting, there was a lively exchange of opinions on their missions set by each team and their innovations.
